Box Seat Observations
Holiday season is upon us! Engorging on various feasts, giving gifts to those you care about, spending time with friends and family, and, most importantly, watching the National Football League.
Holiday season is a pretty busy and hectic time, and it shows as I’m writing this at nearly 1AM on Thanksgiving morning. So I’m gonna keep this one nice and simple.
Both our MOTW teams overperformed their projections, but Eric outperformed his more than Desmond to take home the W and a crucial W in the playoff race.
With Will’s correct pick this week, he has nearly clinched 1st in the Pick’Em. All he needs to do is vote in one of the next two weeks. If he doesn’t, Jamie could potentially tie if he gets both of his picks right. Tall order, I know. BUT, it’s still anyone’s game for second!
In terms of the actual league, the playoff field is starting to crystallize. Austin and Conner were officially eliminated this week, so best of luck in the Consolation Bracket for pick 2.13. Led by stalwart RBs Saquon Barkley and Josh Jacobs, Spud’s team is getting hot at the right moment, and at 6-6 he could look to play spoiler for any of the teams sitting at 8-4 or 7-5. At 5-7, Peyton would need to win out and hope that Cami and Sarah or Desmond collapse at the finish line.
In the Race for 1.01™, Aaron has overtaken Spud for the 3rd overall pick. However, with Spud’s recent momentum, will we see a surprise contender for a top 6 pick in the 2025 Rookie Draft?
Power Rankings
Literally the only thing that changed was Eric and Will swapping spots and #3 and #5. I’m definitely updating this next year. Might just do the rest of the season’s rankings purely based off vibes.

Week 13 Matchup of the Week
This week, we’re featuring two teams that are fighting to secure the all important BYE WEEK in the playoffs. As expected from two title contenders, both teams are littered with studs across the board. The real question is: Who’s studs will deliver?

I cannot wait to gorge myself on food tomorrow.
